Steve's Stage Plot and Input List

Steve Snelling Group Stage Plot and Input List

To seasoned audio professionals, I bow to your expertise;
others may find the following helpful.

It is preferred that the piano NOT be panned extreme right/left
- let's start with the 10:00-12:00 position and tweak from there.

Vocal boom stand goes left of the piano bench.
Piano angles slightly upstage for group configurations.

1. Vox (piano position)
2. Piano - left (inside, lows)
3. Piano - right (inside, highs - not too close to the hammers please)
4. Piano - center (outside, mids - just beyond the lid, about 5-6' high)
5. Bass Mic (for the front of the instrument itself)
6. Bass D.I.
7. Drum Kick
8. Drum Snare
9. Drum Overhead, R.
10. Drum Overhead, L.
11. Aux/Sax/Vox alt.

FX preference is for a tight, warm room or hall, not too deep.
Rule of thumb: subtle is good.
