Please have the piano tuned immediately before the show.

Input
List - Solo Arrangement
(For seasoned professional
engineers, I bow to your expertise;
you may disregard the following suggestions. For others,
you may find this info helpful.)
I carry a Shure Beta 87a vocal mic. (requires
phantom power)
If you have a killer boutique mic you would like to
suggest, we can try that.
It is preferred not to pan piano extreme left/right - try
to keep within 10-2 o'clock range for starters and tweak
from there.
Mic Stand with boom attachment goes left of the bench. Piano points slightly upstage
for group shows.
1.
Vox (piano position)
2. Piano – left (inside, lows)
3. Piano – right (inside, hi's - not too close to hammers, please)
4. Piano - blend (outside, mids - just beyond the lid, about 5'-6' high)
5. Aux or Sax Mic (if app.)
FX
preference is for a tight, warm room or hall, not too deep.
Rule of thumb: subtle is good.
